    Kestrel Update 04-03-2020

Been swinging by nest site every morning on dog walk and due to poor weather the birds have been missing. Today with a bit of sun and light winds back to the prevailing direction both birds were catching some early morning warmth.

The male was keeping a close eye on me from the nest. He's quite a nervous bird.

They both flew off when a pheasant suddenly exploded from the undergrowth near the building.

Thanks Brian. Being somewhat budget limited I'm using the much maligned 7D2 and Sigma 150-600 Contemporary.

      Wishes
Lens: would really like 500 f4.
Body: a 1DX3 would be nice.

Keep doing lottery and cross fingers.
