    Beautiful morning and the kestrels were taking full advantage of the warm sun.

    The male was keeping a watching brief

    The sun adds to these shots, which as you know I love, was the drain plugged at the back just for the birds purpose?

            The nest site is on 3/4th floor of a mill, think hole was maybe extraction/ventilation duct. Locals tell me that kestrels have used the site for more than 30 years.

            Understand that local RSPB undertake some ringing and access nest from back.
