    Bullfinch.

Walked around the Riverside Nature Trail in Dundee, nothing great to see. Sat having a drink in my car afterwards, in a car park behind the local recycling centre & 3 male Bullfinches appeared just in front of my car. In the many years I have now been photographing birds, these have been my bogie bird, fell on ice while attempting to capture them on one occasion & smashed my camera up, had the wrong lens on on another occasion. But today just opened my car door & fired a few shots off for a keeper at last.

Well done on the shot, I've had a wander round that trail, never seen much apart from some nice "Hairy Coos" Montrose basin is a better bet just now, Geese everywhere.

Had two hours having taken a friend to hospital, no cows, plenty of small water holes with Goldfinches & Siskin. The lochan had a Heron & Teal, but that was it.
            Thanks for all the comments.

Nice shot of a beautiful bird. Did you know that there used to be a bounty of one old penny per head on these stunning birds many years ago due to their raids on orchards. Ian W.
