    James’ flamingo

    My wife and I were discussing how hard it is to take nice shots of flamingos. So I didn’t try and went for the menacing look instead…

    Shot at WWT Slimbridge, R6 and RF 600mm. The more I use my 600mm, the more impressed I am with the quality of the images it produces.
    EOS 7D mk II, Sigma 150-660C, Canon 17-85 EF-S, Tamron 10-24 and a wife who shares my obsession.

        Well framed Andy - that 600mm looks a great addition to the kit.

        Reminds me of the early 60's,near where I used to live (Broomhill, Nr Barnsley), when a piece of land flooded and it attracted a few Flamingo's, twitchers came from far and wide to see them.

              Thanks for the kind words everyone. The combination of an R6 with eye detect AF and a decent lens works very well.
