    Marbled Godwit with and without a reflection





    Going through some old files. Can't believe these were taken in 2008 on Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

    EOS 1DIII with 500mm f/4L IS lens and 1.4 converter, tripod mounted back in the day when I didn't mind lugging it all up and down the beach!

          Interesting... I find the reflection in the first oddly distracting even though it's a more pictorial shot... The second feels cleaner and a stronger composition.

          Can't fault the quality and detail in either though.
