Another one from the archives taken on Fort Myers Beach, Florida. I haven't been back to Florida since 2015 and often wonder how things have changed. It was one of the best birding spots in Florida with about a mile and a half of beach with tidal lagoons, which was designated as a wildlife refuge. This attracted many species of birds, some were resident like this semipalmated sandpiper, while others were just passing through as they migrated north or south depending on the time of year.
EOS 1DIII with 500mm f/4L IS lens.
Thanks for looking.
