    Red-bellied Woodpecker

    On our walk today we spotted this red-bellied.

    WOW that’s different, good shot Tom. Why Red-bellied, it seems white, but a fantastic looking bird.

        Nice image. From memory there is also a red headed woodpecker that looks similar but the red on the head is more extensive. The red on the breast of this bird is more of a tinge and is not always easily seen.
