Birds along the Little Lehigh Creek

On our walk along the creek yesterday I spotted and was able to photograph some of the birds that were out and about along the creek. My prize shot was the Kingfisher. Been trying to photograph him for weeks as he doesn't like to sit still for long to have his photograph taken.

All were shot with the Canon R6 w/RF100-500 w/1.4 extender.

Nice images. Cardinals have such stunning colour. Saw a belted kingfisher in Yellowstone and surprisingly one actually turned up in North West England last year. How it made it across the Atlantic is any ones guess.

Remember seeing a picture of that, all the twitchers and what seem like Canon’s complete production of 600 and 800 mm lens
