    Battling swans

    These swans were fighting for some considerable time and at one stage it looked like the loser might get drowned. But another swan joined in, possibly a female, and the loser made good their escape.

      Greta capture. I’ve never seen swans fighting, sounds like it was some battle.

        Great capture Ant. I once saw a swan end up in a very bad way after a fight, despite people throwing sticks etc, to try and stop them

          Cracking shot.

          A local mill pond has a sizeable swan population and they certainly get tetchy at times...
