        Always amazing where these birds turn up. Anywhere from coast to moorland. Nice capture.

          Thank you. They tend to use moorland as spring breeding grounds and coastal regions for overwinter feeding, There are large numbers of winter migrating curlew from Scandinavian countries and others. Our native curlew are declining at a phenomenal rate and unless things improve then in 10years time the British native curlew will be extinct!
