    Tricky little thing to photograph, always on the move.

    Smallest bird in UK weighing about 5-6g, about same as a 20p piece.

      Well seen Ant, love these, had one in the garden last week , had camera in hand and it never turned around once, could have had plenty of bum shots and then flew off. So annoying. Well done you great pose.

          Great image, well done.

          There was one in my garden this morning, though I could only get a record shot of it through the double glazing. I suspect that they are moving through on their migration routes.

              Thanks all. Goldcrests are often seen in urban areas at this time of year. Bit warmer and still plenty of insects and spiders to be found.
