    Harrier Hunting

    At RSPB Leighton Moss last week saw this male marsh harrier hunting along the edge of the reedbed.

    At one point it flushed this snipe which survived the encounter.

                Thanks for comments. Was a bit fortunate to get this shot. I was following the harrier in hope it might do a banked turn. Noticed the snipe take flight and got about 3 or 4 frames with both birds.
