    Red Kite (Milvus milvus)

This Red Kite was one of a group of ~10 flying round near home. Used the Canon Eos R8 and the RF 100 - 400 mm f5.6 - 8 STM. Starting to get a much better hit rate with the camera.

Excellent! I love these birds. So majestic watching them fly! We have a black kite up here in the lakes. Granted it's in a wildlife park, but still lovely to see.

        Love the first image Chris

Beautiful bird and well captured Chris. Great to see them becoming more common around here in Norfolk/Suffolk as well as other parts of the country. Saw one only this morning as I was driving along.
