    Dartford Warbler

Good to see a good crop of Dartford Warblers out on the Heath this morning. Counted 11 within a five mile walk with several males singing.
Last year was a good breeding season for them in this area, with the mild winter their numbers should be good for another good season.

Super little birds and as you say mild winters are a boost for their survival. Great image.

Great shot Trev, package a few up to us, never seen one I am sure as it gets warmer they would survive up here too.
