    That’s something I’ve learnt today, I would have said a flock, wasn’t aware it was called a deceit. Nice shot

        Despite bird watching for far more years than I care to remember I didn't know the collective noun for lapwings.

        Nice image too.

        Note to self look up collective for golden plover as I've some images of these.
