    Golden Plover

    This image shows a small part of a congregation (I had the look that up) of thousands, probably in excess of 10k, at Frampton Marsh.

    Seeing the change from the golden hues on the top of the wing to white underneath as the birds banked was really special and when they flew no more than 25-30ft over our heads we could hear the sound of their wings.
