                    THanks for the comments I have to say I'm very happy with the results from the 40D at high ISO's if I was still using the old 400D I probably wouldn't have bothered taing the camera out of the bag.

                    If nothing more the rsults only go to validating my purchase as a good upgrade from the 400D
