    Spaniel in action!

This is Benji our twelve month old Cocker Spaniel. He always jumps this log on our morning walk, although he could easily go under it, so it made it a bit easier to set up the shot. Got him to jump it several times but pleased with this one....

Lovely sharp shot Andrew. Nicely done. I've tried to get my springer in action. She's too quick for me, or, rather I'm too slow for her!

Nice shot Garry, I've tried to do the same with our Border Terrier and the 70-300mmL lens and its not easy is it, so well done

Love it, the floppy eared breeds are great subjects for jumping shots.

I'd be tickled pink with that.

Alas my dog at 14 hasn't got a bounce left in her. Oh for the chance to turn back time and give something like this a go.

Thanks all for all looking and commenting.

              She's too quick for me,
Yes Garry he also has quite a turn of speed, so lots of blurred photos as well!

the 70-300mmL lens and its not easy is it
As this is a regular walk I was able to plan what I wanted to do. I also prefocused on the log so the camera was doing less when it came to the jump

Oh for the chance to turn back time
Sounds like its time to get a younger companion for your dog to train up for you Di!

Great set, you have certainly caught the action.

                        another good set

I presume your focusing on the branch, then waiting for him to jump over ?

Yes Ian, prefocused on the tree and waited for the action. As its a regular walk I knew what to expect, in fact we are just off out now!
