    Dog and Macro

Could be the name of a pub......but just a few images from this afternoon...
(I'm in a square format phase...I'm experimenting with that format for the whole month of November to see if it offers any compositional insight for my photography going forward)

I've managed to persuade Harvey to run towards me without a ball in his mouth which is a recent improvement

I think he is developing attitude..

hoping to try some studio shots tomorrow but he hates the flash! Thanks for looking!

Nice images, but in first the shallow DOF means Harveys nose is slightly OOF. The profile image is very sharp and the limited DOF isn't an issue.

Look forward to seeing the studio shots.

Cracking shots, with some nice light.

agree and your brave to use the 100 for dog portrait work .... ;o)

the shallow DoF is the issue with this lens, although saying that I do like the last one

All work well in a square format but the first would be better with the grass cloned to cover the odd triangle of sky at the top

Lovely looking dog Brian which you've captured very well. Give Harvey a gravy bone and tell him it's from me[emoji3]
