    Molly

Before I put the studio kit away after shooting the shells last weekend I thought I would try and get some shots of our puss, Molly. I have tried in the past but she wouldn't stay long enough so this time I set up her blanket, plonked her on it and after a bit of a sniff, she stayed long enough for a few shots. Not the best background and would have been better had I thought to open the aperture from f16 which I had been using for the shells and I could also have upped the shutter to a more reasonable 1/200 rather than 1/80.

All in all not worked out too bad though. Shot with 7D II and my 24-105

2nd shot is a winner Stan and any cat lover would love a photo like that - I've tried a few times to get posed photos of my cat and my hands are still recovering ;o)

Did you consider a small vignette ?

Yep, second is a lovely shot of the cat. I'm not keen on the Halfords universal seat cover as a backdrop though.

as explained above its the cats blanket. Had I taken the time to set up my proper studio backdrop, I doubt I would have got a shot at all

Ha, that'll teach me to read it properly. Why did you buy your cat a Halfords seat cover as a blanket then? ;-)
