    beautiful shot there. I really like the curious peering over the top pose.

    Although the colours look a bit off to me.

      - well I've desaturated the colours a bit because it looked a bit 'too golden' and unnatural, maybe I've taken too much colour out, will add some more colour, thanks for your comments

        I would be absolutely useless at breeding dogs - I would never be able to part with a pup with an expression like that !!!

              I prefer the original. Beautiful pic. The doctored pic has taken away the dogs true colour. Would make a great poster.

                I agree with Monobrow. The correct WB should be applied before making any other adjustments. It's then quite likely that the pup wouldn't have been 'too golden'. There's no point in buggering about with colours that aren't correct in the first place.
                Camera auto WB works fine in daylight, but is generally useless with incandescent or fluorescent lighting.

                Nice pic BTW.
