    Cute dogs!!
The white dog is nicely exposed but I find the black one slightly dark.
A slight tweak with the shadow/highlight tool in PS would probably be enough to show through some detail.

Thanks for the comments and advice. I agree looking at the black dog a lot of the detail has been lost in the uploaded image, where as on my computer it looked fine although it isn't calibrated in any way. I have tried to lighten it slightly, hopefully without overdoing it. Many thanks again.

A bit more detail showing now, Graham
I am now looking at these at home and the original Oscar doesn't look too bad after all.
          Thanks for editing and posting

I want to know how you got them to sit there and pose without running off!

Hi Colin, getting the white westie to pose is no problem. He has and attitude problem and thinks hes a film star and will pose at will. The black one we think of as having learning difficulties as he is as thick as a plank but will sit still for a little while. Especially when my wife is growling at him! ;)

                    Re: Our dogs posing!

Nice shots of your dogs Graham. You have excellent catchlights in the eyes of your pooches. On my monitor it looks like Oscar needs a color temperature adjustment in photoshop (4700K-5000K), just a minor tweak though and he'll be looking good. You can even go into photoshop and select: Image/Adjustments/Auto Color and it makes a difference. I have CS-3, so I hope you have the same tools in CS-4.
                    Great images, well done!
