Very nice and my favourite is number one. The colours and the raindrops make it work for me. I would possibly consider cropping the half flower on the left and the other on the bottom and that could make a bette roverall picture.
That 18 - 55mm lens certainly performed well.

This lens is certainly better than any other kit lens I've tried.
Close focussing makes it ideal for close-up shots.

Excellent first shots! I too have a 550D, and have really enjoyed the kit lens - it performs very well, as you've shown here!
