    Maple Leaf

Just a simple shot of a Norway maple leaf - but does it work?

It does work but...the light background seems to draw my eye to it rather than the main subject matter. Also if you have cropped this I would suggest that it would have been better if you could loose some of the stalk at the top and bring in the missing portion of the lower leaf.

        Thanks Peter and Tom.
I have cropped but was unsure whether to leave the stock in or out.Your comments have confirmed what I thought.

        Cheers

Strangely we had a very simular pic come up in a club competition last week. The Judge had simular comments about the background and quality of leaf. He suggested dark wet smooth slate and a very good leaf. What do judges know any way.

It was a grab shot from the garden before SOMBO cleared them away but you have given me food for thought.

            Thanks Treff.
