Strokeline or no strokeline - that is the question!

Ladies & Gentlemen;

Your advice please...

I am still finding my feet as far as club competitions go having only entered a few images to date...

I am considering the following for a round of projected images. Bearing in mind this will be displayed on a black screen, I can't decide whether to add a 2px strokeline or not. Without it the image will simple blend into the surround without any defining border; but I'm undecided...

Your comments and advice much appreciated...

2. Strokeine; 2px - the added black canvas is only to disply the strokeline - without which it can't be seen on this upload!

I would use the stroke line.

I was at an inter-club competition last night and a couple of projected images lost out because they did blend into the background, but another lost out because the author used a coloured stroke line, which the judge considered distracting. I tended to agree with him, but keep any stroke lines neutral: white, black or grey. Coloured strokes can compete with the image.
