Not posted for a wee while. It's raining, cold and very grey here in Kabul at present so I had to look for something to brighten up my day:

Like this a lot. Like the composition, the simplicity of the image, good use of DOF and a very nice Spring color.

I rather like the sheen - the way you've got the sun on the petals of the buttercup. Not to mention the little hairs on the stem and the drift of a spiders web.
