    Spring Flowers

Walking home from the playground, the grandchildren & I spotted some spring flowers that are finally in bloom.

These 2 are taken with the EOS-M w/EF-M 22mm f/2 STM & 1 grandson jumping on my back.

    Re: Spring Flowers

Posted the yellow flower on another forum and was given a suggestion to bump up the whites a tad, then add a brush to the flower, then increase the highlights till it starts to lose detail and do the same for the shadows.

Tried that and here are the results:

    WDYT?

Excellent set Tom, why they are posted on this forum, reduce sharpness and contrast?!

Nice flowers Tom I hope your back survived OK, I am afraid I would personally disagree with the other forum I like the Daf as it was in the first image.

The first is the better image. As for a grandson on your back how about a dog tugging on a lead held in your right hand - works sometimes!

I too prefer the original daffodil.
Both nice and a sign of warmer weather to come.

Grandchildren are a great excuse for yourself going on the swing, sea-saw etc.. just like making sandcastles on a beach

Absolutely agree with you Stephen. They make entering the fall of one's like much more enjoyable IMO. Thanks for stopping by.

Me too, like the detail in the petals of no.1, which is being lost in #2, also prefer the colour which is more natural looking. Our spring flowers are trying to bloom here, but it is snowing again today
