    I do like the 1st image and maybe a use a Square Crop for more impact.

        I like number 2 with the stamens so sharp - they are all a teeny bit over saturated on my screen -personally prefer softer tones.

          Thanks Tom and Di. I will try a square crop and post here when I have a moment.

          Thanks also Diana. Actually the colour is straight out of the can! I do sometimes warm up a bit or increase saturation/vibrancy, but not in this case. The colour was almost painful outside as well! Pretty much all I did was check for the lens profile and of course for the 100mm L there is little discernible change. For once I will have to think about toning down nature!!!
