    Venetian tulip

    Oh,hey ho - it has suddenly worked, this is part of a Venetian mixture which also includes purple and dark red.
    This was taken with the evening sun behind it.

          Like the colours of the tulip but it is a shame about that bright stem in the background - would look so much better with that cloned out

            The stem is very much part of the image, and I left it in as a frame to what is otherwise a very mundane photo!! Just my take on it.

                I like the mauve on the orange. Very effective and nice to look at.
