    I really like the first one Bill

    Just wondering how you might avoid the shadow - wonder if increasing the distance between the flower and background would help

      I like the stamen , no.2 - think it is a lily, though. Don't get the pollen on your clothes - stains like mad!

        Yes, like those, particularly the first. Softer edge to the shadow possible?

            You are right Guys it is a Lilly, should have known that! Post amended.

            Stan. Yes a greater distance between BG and subject would reduce or avoid the shadow but after processing I quite like the shadow for some obscure reason that I can't describe.

                  Nice set Bill. The Lily is a great subject with lots of potential variations of images, which I think you have demonstrated very well with this set.

                    Like the first one. Great amount of detail.

                    As for the pollen... not only does it stain... its also lethal for cats.
