    Snowdrop

    We mainly went to Kingston Lacy last week for the snowdrops but unlike shooting bluebell fields, snowdrops just don't have that impact so decided to concentrate on individual blooms with the macro lens. With hindsight I should have taken the ring flash or 580 but only had the pop up on the camera so used that instead. Camera set in manual mode at 1/160, f9, ISO 800

    you did well to get that Stan with just a pop up - but struggling with DoF by the looks of things

    I would have lost the dirt marks on the petals
