love the detail but the PP isn't working for me ...I think in this case would like to see it with a nice natural bokeh

It's a nice specimen but agree with Ian. Was this cut out and put onto the dark background?

Don't like dark background Ian and Alan? What about light?

light works a lot better Chris, but I do wonder if a light pink wouldn't be better ?

Strange how we all prefer different colours etc Ian. I prefer the dark background.

            But, Light Pink???

Now thats a bit too girlie for me. (Hope that dosen't sound sexist, its not meant to be)!

It is the sharpness of the edge that doesn't work for me on either background. The shot itself I really like just not the PP.

Hmmm the light background doesn't work for me. Better against the black but perhaps the edges of the leaves need softening a bit?

Thanks Andrew, the sharp edges are intentional, soft edges just don't seem to work as good.

I tried soft edges to start with Ian, but they don't seem as good to me. Sorry pinks not for me.

thats why I think a softer background may achive a better edge ....but if you prefer the hard / sharpe edge its your image Chris ..
