    It rained last night

We had a good downpour last night and I thought I would take a tour around the garden to see how things were. I'm still not able to garden but I can lift the 350D without getting shouted at by the nursing staff

Here we have four tulips all showing the remnants of the rain. Sorry I can't identify them by name as some are from last years patio pots from which the bulbs had subsequently been put in to the borders without labels.

I've used the jpgs from the camera and resized them for posting here rather than spend time processing the raw files. The compression saving them for the web hasn't done these any favours .

    #1 Pink

    #2 Red

#3 Pink again but I don't think this is the same as #1 but...I could be wrong!

#4 now I wish I did know what this one is called, sadly it's the only one in the garden.

Thanks Stan, much appreciated. The background is all down to the Brides lawn care skills, I'm considering promoting Ann to Head Gardener and demoting myself to general dogsbody when my recuperation is complete

Thanks for all the comments, much appreciated. The tulips are getting battered by strong winds now so I probably caught then just in time.

And it's raining again, so I've decided to get a bit creative and produce this.

My mistake has now been rectified
