    Meet my fun guy

    Took this a while ago but would appreciate your thoughts ....

    Interesting opportunity to create some abstract images. So that said, this would be a good photo to show what you had to work with. What you needed to do next was to try and isolate one, or switch to a macro lens for some close up images odf them.

        In this case I have to disagree with Tom going abstract - I like the photo as it is, but I do think it needs some further processing pulling down the highlights to loose where the sun is blowing it out and lifting the shadows to get the detail out - then I think you could have a really interesting photo...There are some crops as Tom suggested as well

        But I do agree about returning and going in closer, hopefully with a tripod and getting different angles and shots on this as theres loads of opportunities

        But for now what you have needs some tweaking...

              Nice shot Neil, I think it could be improved by cropping out the top section with the OOF fungi.
