    Not sure about the processing, looks to be lots of detail in the image.

      They are the biggest sharpening halos I've ever seen Chris [emoji6]
      I do like Aquilegia in fact just last week I bought a white variety. But I don't think your processing works with this it sort of overpowers the subject IYSWIM

                    Not for me either, I'm afraid. Doesn't do justice to such a pretty flower. But I think it's great to try different ideas like that - nothing venture, nothing gain - as they say!

                      For me, it's neither good nor bad, just different. It's not how we view flowers, but it has a uniqueness and the light halos do draw the eye to the center of the flower. I really want to dislike this image, but for me it is strangely attracting. So for me it's a

                            I do kinda agree with Tom - I like the image but I'm not keen on the halos. The softness of the outside petals I really like as that pulls you right into the sharp center of the flower, with the halos gone it would be a
