A super flower shot Chris but not keen on the background. As it was obviously a bit distracting, the flower being so well defined, I would have used the quick selection tool on the flower, inversed the selection and then filled it with a single complimentary colour

Thanks Stan, yes tried that but just couldn't find a colour that looked that right so I went for something different and probably a bit overboard.
