    Cowslip rampage

We are very fortunate to have cowslips growing in the garden and it is lovely to see them burst forth in the spring, but they seem to be marching across the garden, spreading their territory wider each year!

Very nice. I used to have them as well. One slip of the mower and they would have disappeared for ever. In fact someone managed to eradicate them all when they were doing something to the lawn. I was very upset! So this is a nice memory!

Richard & John - I am glad you liked them - I am going to try and mow round them for now, but I am afraid they will have to succumb to the blade in due course - it does not seem to hinder them providing they get a bit of undisturbed time at the start of the year.
