The bluebells are not ready yet.....

SWMBO and I visited our local bluebell woods this morning, but I reckon they need a day or two to fully develop.

When they are at their best does seem to vary greatly, even in woods that are close to each other.

Still look nice here though, lovely light on them, I like the oof ones behind your focus point, though the oof ones in front are a bit distracting.

I take the point - I wanted a group that were standing taller than the rest and unfortunately they were a little too far into the main mass of the flowers - and NO gardening allowed!!

agree and had the same problem when shooting poppies recently - not an easy problem to over come

this might work if shot with more of the field of poppies and the background but close up like this the background is quite distracting or you could go for a shot of a single head like I did with the Pamphill bluebells and as I have but not yet posted when I visited another wood the other day
