    Lomelosia stellata (Starflower)

    Our son sent his Mum a bouquet for Mothering Sunday which included this flower which was new to us. The head is about 1.25" in diameter. Native to southwestern Europe and North Africa.

      It’s strange what they include in with flowers now. I bought some back along there was something with blue leaves amongst them, I then realised it had been sprayed blue.
