    Woodlands: Light and Shadow

So my Woodlands: Light and Shadow project seems to be getting legs. Here are some recent additions where I try to capture backlit leaves and shadows created from the sun overhead.

        Like these, 2 & 3 particularly.

Lens flare is always going to be an issue in situations like this and you've done well to avoid it. Even in the last image it's well controlled and not intruding into the subject area so is not objectionable.

Interesting project. Are you going to continue throughout the year?

I too like the second photo, the colour in the centre looks nice.

                  Hi Bob,

Yes I have some shots from Autumn, before this became a project, guess I am drawn to the backlighting or maybe the silence of the woods. Probably both. I think I will add in black and white during the winter. Not much chance of snow in Georgia USA.

My Twitter, er ah X, friends said I should make a book.

I agree Brian, it did not occur to me until I started this that looking for something specific really sharpens your focus.
