I like #2 but find the horizon in the background a bit distracting - maybe a dferent angle to avoid this wouldlhave helped?

No the Lancaster canal just north of Garstang

Diana i like to take nature shots as they are, i wanted these straight on so its the shot i wanted, with nature and wildlife i dont bother too much on compsiition i shoot what i see thank you for your comment
