    Ladybird on a stalk

    Taken with my 18-55mm kit lens on auto focus.

    It's a little out of focus, I think I must have been a bit too unsteady on my feet.

    Canon EOS 5D Mark III, EF 135mm F/2 L, EF 16-35mm F/4 L, EF 50mm f/1.8, EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM, EF 28mm f/2.8

    i think for such small creatures shots you really need to get super close and fill the frame (unless of course that was never the intention here). this is where a macro lens comes handy. also not sure what the reddish blobs on the left are - a litte distracting, can be cropped out for a cleaner shot

      Thanks you. I'm not sure what the red blobs were either, I'll crop them as suggested and see how it looks.
