Stratford Butterfly Farm - Photo heavy

Cory and I went up to Stratford Butterfly Farm on Saturday, could have put some of these in the macro section but thought putting them all in the same post made more sense. ALL taken handheld with the Tamron 90mm on the 1d mk4

#6 - trickiest shot as I had to hold camera / back button focus and shoot one handed as it's sat on my finger

      David,
For me these have the wow factor.
I have been thinking of heading up to the Stratford Butterfly Farm.... these have convinced me that I have to get of my but and go.

Very nice set, it is difficult to choose a favourite but I am tending towards the close up shots.

What was the flash that you used?

Thanks guys - flash is the 580 II majority of the shots in the gallery were with the flash even though it was pretty bright, did a few without up around 1/800 but kept going back to the flash.

Lovely shots David & Cory. I prefer the butterflies to the creepy crawlies.
