Bees in Regent's Park

These are the first pics I've dared to post in such impressive company. All comments gratefully received but please be kind to a relative beginner.

I'd just bought a Canon EF 24-105mm f4L IS USM (from David Stallard) and wandered around the lake in Regent's Park to try it out. As well as lots of water birds, I saw these bees and spent ages trying to get a decent shot. All hand-held on a 450D.

Well done Bob.

First for nailing the lil blighters and second for posting the shots. The really good news is that the lens works OK ..................... not that we would expect any different from David.

Good set for starters. #1 I would crop a tad off the top
As for the bees...they always look better when facing towards you. Hope that helps

Very nice, I do like bee shots on flowers. I try my best but can't help panicking sometimes at the fear of getting stung.
