Love the color on the 1st butterfly. Both seem soft, looks like the focus was on the flower.

there is nothing wrong with handholding - I never use a tripod for anything that may move - just need to make sure you have a reasonable shutter speed and make sure you get the focus point over the eye or headUnfortunately they were both hand held too
