    Shadow

Taken in a mad half hour in the garden this weekend.

Sat on a lily in my pond. Using the 55-250mm - no extension tubes etc

I think I like it because of the shadow more than anything else.

    Camera Canon EOS 500D
    Exposure 0.003 sec (1/320)
    Aperture f/5.6
    Focal Length 250 mm

    Re: Shadow

Hi DeeGee, glad to see you back posting. I see what you were after, but the background is much to distracting for me.

Agree with Tom - and although it is small and facing away, it would have worked OK I think if the top half of the shot was just pond rather than the oof leaves

        Re: Shadow

Hi, see what you mean about the leaves. Now that you've pointed out how they work in the shot, it's obvious. Shows that I'm not thinking about what else is in the frame, going to have to get back into that thinking.
