    A few dragonfly shots

Hi Guys, my apologies for not posting for a while have been in a bit of a 'funk' feeling I'd lost my 'mojo' a bit.

Here are a few shots of dragonflies taken at both Savill Gardens & RHS Wisley. All are taken hand held with the 7D & Tamron 90mm (The Wisley ones were my first real attempt to catch one in flight). Hope you like them, comments & critique welcome.

    #1 Savill Gardens (f/3.2, ISO 100)

    #2 Savill Gardens (f/7.1, ISO 100)

    #3 RHS Wisley (ss 1/1600, ISO 640, f3.2)

    #4 RHS Wisley (ss 1/1600, ISO 500, f2.8)

    Cory.

P.s, apologies for the duplicate thumbnails, I'm not sure how to remove them without having to begin the whole thing again

    Cory,
These are fantastic, really like them, I have the 7D, must get the Tamron 90 or the Canon 100mm that your other half uses!!!

Am very jealous, I would be so proud to have taken them.

    Regards Paul

You have your mojo back with a vengeance. First the flowers and now dragonflies in flight. Someone's having a good week!

I have never tried my hand at macro, but these fantastic shots are certainly tempting me to have a go.

And I couldn't even get a shot of Cory shooting a Dragon in focus - damn the girls good

Normally I wouldn't have kept a shot this OoF, made an exception with this one - oh and my dragons in flight

An excellent effort with the flight shots - hawkers are extremely difficult
A shame you cropped the tail in the second static
