Yellow Winged Darter

This pair of beauties landed in the back garden yesterday, I had to quickly get a ladder and climb up to photograph them before they flew off!

I think these are very unlikely to be yellow winged darters but just common darters, the female on the left and the male on the right. Slightly soft but an excellent pose

I got the species from 'Wikipedia' so apologies for the mistake, I suspect that it is a common darter, so glad that I spotted them though
