Common Lizard - juvenile

A couple of shots from Brownsea a couple of weeks back. Although not obvious form the shots, this was a vert small young one, no more than 3" from tip to tail, so unusually I shot up close with my macro lens rather than my 300f4

I have not seen one in my part of the world.

I had not seen one before this year but back in March I happened to come across one in the sand down by the beach and since then made a point of looking out for them and over the months have seen them by the various paths down to the beach, Arne, Brownsea Island and the wetlands centre.
