    mandolinka bramborova

I hope not many of you have seen one of these. Known in the UK as Colorado Beetle. One of those little critters to make the people at DEFRA get nervous.
Took these pictures in a potato field 5 mins from my house. There were quite a few there. Didn't seem to affect the crop very much. In fact I actually bought a couple of bags of spuds from the farmer. Nice too.

Pictures taken on a Canon 550D with an EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 II USM lens.

I've seen these before. We use to call them potato bugs. Thanks for sharing these.

Have Canon brought out a version II of the 15-85mm lens?

Very nice images and nicely done

Nice colours on a horrible thing. Didn't realise they where so big.
